Some (very) random thoughts

Just in case anyone cares, this is what my room looks like. It took a few days to get used to it, but I actually like it a lot! Anyone who has lived with me before, knows that I hate cold rooms, so I was really glad to find that I can pump the heat up to sauna-temperature! Alright, that's an exaggeration, but I absolutely love coming back to the warmth of my room after being outside for a couple of hours. Notice the two faucets in the sink: one is hot and one is cold water. I still haven't quite gotten the hang of this...I live on a floor of about fifteen people. Most of them are first years. I haven't met everyone yet because some of them haven't moved back in yet, but the ones of who I've met have been great! I live just south of the Thames River, and right near Guy's campus where I will be having most of my classes.

Another thing I need to get used to: they drive on the left side of the road. Surprisingly, actually being in a car driving on the left side of the road didn't feel as weird as I thought it would, but crossing the street is a different story. I think by now I am pretty good at looking right before crossing the street, but now I forget to look left. Good thing they've got hints on their roads! Mommy, these next two pictures are for you:

Everyone here wears really colorful and pretty scarves! I have a feeling that I'll be leaving with a couple more scarves than I came with. Also, zucchini is called courgette, and they spell traveling the way I've always wanted to spell it -- with two l's!

See, I told you this one would be random!
