I've done a lot of touristy things since I've been here, but today was by far the touristiest (I know it's not a word, but try saying that three times). After Borough Market, we went to Abbey Road. There is no stoplight at this famous intersection. Instead, there are only yield signs, meaning that the poor people who drive down that road have to yield to silly tourists trying to get the perfect shot. They were surprisingly patient though! Not unexpectedly, we weren't the only people trying to take a good picture. First, the four boys walked across. After a few tries, they got a pretty descent picture. Then, Brittany and I tried. I messed up both times -- I wasn't that enthusiastic about stepping in front of moving traffic and pausing in the middle of the street for a picture...It turned out to be a lot of fun though!

Borough Market and Abbey Road (I know, creative title)
I worked it out so that I don't have class on Fridays (yay!), so this afternoon I met Josh, Brittany, Sam, Mark and Andy (who also didn't have class today) at Borough Market, which is only a five minute walk from where I live. I had walked through this market before, but this time I planned on actually taking my time to sample lots of different food. This market was absolutely fabulous. All the food looked delicious and I quickly realized that I should not have eaten lunch before going there. I sampled some olives, cheese, a few spreads, some bread, some fish, some chocolate and a few other foods.

Sam saw the word "pie" and headed straight toward it.
We ran into Talia (who is studying at Oxford) at Borough Market!
I'm definitely coming back here next week for lunch!

We also saw the studio.
After we got that out of our systems, we went to see where Mark lives! He lives in Hampstead, which is north of London and a little far from the rest of us, so we thought we should pay him a visit. Then, I came back home and cooked some pasta with vegetables and zucchini for dinner!
